In-Person Workshops

Time Management
This workshop will cover how to prioritize assignments and day-to-day tasks, and provide tools to help participants manage their time based on their personal style.

Study Skills Boot Camp
The broad scope of Study Skills Boot Camp is designed to present tried and true tools to get the most out of your PItt education, from your first day through graduation. This workshop covers methods for better note taking, studying, test taking, and post-exam analysis.

Study Smarter, Not Harder
Understanding how your brain takes in and processes information can help you design a study strategy that is scientifically proven to be effective. This workshop provides inside info into the theory behind studying, and translates that theory into practical tools that will enhance your study skills.

How to Succeed in the Sciences
This faculty-led workshop introduces basic strategies you'll need to succeed in your science courses: from committing to a study schedule, to balancing your time, to improving your study skills, to taking advantage of Pitt's many science-focused resources.

Stress Management
College can be stressful. This workshop will cover some tips and strategies to help you manage those times when you are feeling stressed out. Hear from experts from the University Counseling Center about what you can do to ensure stress doesn't take over your life.

Overcoming Test Anxiety
Join us for a seminar given by the University Counseling Center which is designed to help participants discover ways to work through their anxiety when they are studying for and taking exams.

Finals Boot Camp
This workshop covers strategies to do your best during finals, including how to manage your time, specific study skills to use, and ideas for minimizing stress during finals.
