Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activity

About Our Programs

Undergraduate research through the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity drives your intellectual curiosity, satisfies your thirst for discovery, and gives you an outlet for your creativity.

Through OUR’s programs and initiatives, we encourage you to explore exciting research opportunities outside of the classroom, while providing you with a sense of community and engagement.

The Craft of Undergraduate Research Proposals

This workshop is designed to teach undergraduates how to craft effective independent research proposals.  Participants will learn techniques to strengthen proposals and discuss best practices with faculty experts.  Students considering applying for OUR Summer Undergraduate Research Awards or other summer and fall opportunities for independent research are encouraged to register.
