The OUR provides awards each semester for undergraduates conducting independent research. Beyond funding opportunities, the OUR administers two highly-esteemed internship programs for students seeking experience in specific fields. Learn more below.

Summer Undergraduate Research Award

Each summer, the OUR offers funding to support Dietrich School undergraduates' independent creative and academic inquiries outside of their coursework.

Archival Scholars Research Awards

In partnership with the University Library System (ULS), the OUR provides support for undergraduate scholars and researchers in the humanities drawing on resources found in the Archives Service Center (ASC), Center for American Music (CAM), Fine Arts Library (FA), The Theodore M. Finney Music Library and Hillman Library's Special Collections Department (SC).

CBS Anthony and Concetta Ambrosio Internship Award

The CBS Anthony and Concetta Ambrosio Internship Award provides $5,000 of financial support to an undergraduate intern with CBS in NYC each summer.

Geo A. Bivins Jr RCA Internship Award

The Geo A. Bivins Jr RCA Internship Award provides $10,000 of financial support to an undergraduate intern with RCA in NYC each summer.

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace: James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program

The OUR screens applicants for the CEIP James C Gaither Fellows Program - which places graduating seniors on research projects with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace for one year after graduation.

Next Year's FAFSA Available Now

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available on October 1, 2016 for the 2017-18 academic year. This is the most important form to complete in order to qualify for almost all types of financial aid.
