A&S Undergraduate Research Mentorship

The OUR provides Dietrich School undergraduates formal research mentorship experiences as through the programs First Experiences in Research and Continuing Experiences in Research. Undergraduates can also seek one-on-one peer-advising from Undergraduate Mentors. Learn more below.

First Experiences in Research (FE-R)

FE-R pairs undergraduates with faculty mentors in research across the University every spring term. 

Continuing Experiences in Research (CE-R)

Students can continue doing mentored research through CE-R in the fall term after their FE-R experience.

Undergraduate Mentors (UMs)

UMs are peer mentors who help connect undergraduates to research and creative opportunities.

Next Year's FAFSA Available Now

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available on October 1, 2016 for the 2017-18 academic year. This is the most important form to complete in order to qualify for almost all types of financial aid.
