Why did you become a tutor?
I became a tutor because it is a rewarding experience to be able to witness students understanding concepts and be able to grasp the material to a level where you can help others grow with your knowledge. It also would help me reinforce my material so I can help more people.
What is your favorite thing about the subject in which you tutor?
My favorite subject to tutor is Organic Chemistry. I like it a lot because its just like a puzzle. You have all these puzzle pieces and you can manipulate molecules to make what you want based on their properties.
What is the best study tip you have for a student taking one of the courses you tutor?
Do not procrastinate and cram. Always study for an exam 1 week in advance. Always seek out help if you need it. there are plenty of resources to help you.
Why should students come to Study Lab?
Study Lab is a great resource to not only get one on one help but also learn ways to study that works with contemporary students who have just recently taken the classes.
