Why did you become a tutor?
I became a tutor because the tutoring center helped me become the successful student I am and I would love to help other people do the same

What is your favorite thing about the subject in which you tutor?
I enjoy that everything builds off of each other. Once you understand the basic concepts and realize the study habits that work best for you, you are bound to do well as long as you put in the work.

What is the best study tip you have for a student taking one of the courses you tutor?
Find what works best for you! Everyone has different study habits, so don't compare yourself to others. Go to office hours and use all your resources.

Why did you seek out tutoring?
I needed help with biology my freshman year and getting adjusted to the rigor of college. I also came back my sophomore year when I was struggling with Organic Chemistry.

What is the most valuable experience you had when you were being tutored?
I learned how to study productively and efficiently, which I have carried with me throughout my college career.

Why should students come to Study Lab?
Sometimes, It is easier when a peer explains to you rather than a professor. Especially if you have a tutor who had your professor, they will understand and have tons of tips particular to that professor.
