Why did you become a tutor?
I believe that each individual should be afforded an education. As firmly as I believe in this sentiment, I also acknowledge that an education is not easy to obtain, even if given the opportunity at a college education. I have been fortunate enough to have performed well in the classes that I tutor, and I hope to use the knowledge that I have gained from my academic experiences in these areas to help others establish a base from which they, too, can receive an education and change the world around them.

What is your favorite thing about the subject in which you tutor?
I enjoy that the subjects that I tutor are far from static; they are constantly changing and requiring the learner to acclimate with new knowledge. They are not classes where you can only memorize; rather, the subjects demand that you learn how to work with the material as opposed to merely "working the material."

What is the best study tip you have for a student taking one of the courses you tutor?
Science can be daunting, but every individual starts off confused. There is always a way to simplify the material: We tutors are here to help you figure out how to simplify it in a way that makes sense to you.

Why should students come to Study Lab?
Study Lab affords an opportunity for learning material from multiple different perspectives due to the group atmosphere during this time.
