Why did you become a tutor?
I love to learn and I want to help other students find methods and techniques to bring ease to their studies and motivate them to enjoy them as well.

What is your favorite thing about the subject in which you tutor?
I like chemistry because it is the fundamental basis of a lot of material learned in upper-level biology classes. I like genetics because learning it involves problem-solving and it is constantly growing with research.

What is the best study tip you have for a student taking one of the courses you tutor?
If you are taking genetics with Dr. Jacobson, get your vocabulary straight before diving into studying for an exam. Having precise definitions for the vocabulary will translate into a great understanding of the important concepts, and then you can figure out trickier problems from there with more ease.

Why should students come to Study Lab?
Students should utilize study lab if they are struggling with motivation or understanding because the tutors working here are passionate about their respective subjects and will work with you to help you reach your goal.
