Why did you become a tutor?
To continue to practice the courses relevant to my area of study and to further develop my commuication skills.

What is your favorite thing about the subject in which you tutor?
I've always loved math, and I enjoy how the math in physic offers an explanation for many events that ocur in our daily lives.  I also enjoy how the circuitry of neurons explain how small changes can be large effects on human behavior and perception.

What is the best study tip you have for a student taking one of the courses you tutor?
Start early and get ample sleep.  Starting early minimizes the stress of studying for a difficult exam and sleep helps commit the information you study to long term memory.  Do not pull all-nighters!

Why should students come to Study Lab?
I definitely think there is something to be said for collaborative learning.  Sometimes a topic you don't underatand can begin to make sense when you explain your reasoning aloud to another student.  I know this has personally helped me disssect different concepts so that I am able to understand and apply them.
