Graduation

Please note

The Dietrich School is excited to celebrate your accomplishments at the University of Pittsburgh Commencement ceremony on Sunday, April 30. During this traditional, formal celebration, all graduating seniors of the Dietrich School will have your names read aloud and be greeted by Dean Kathleen Blee and Associate Dean John Twyning as you walk across the stage. The event will be live streamed and recorded so that anyone unable to be in attendance may have the opportunity to watch the ceremony in its entirety.

In addition to the formal University Commencement ceremony, all Dietrich School academic departments are encouraged to provide receptions or Senior Sendoffs for graduates and their families as an informal way to recognize our students and their achievements.  Departmental receptions and Senior Sendoffs are funded, in part, by the Dietrich School Dean’s Office.  Please visit this web page or contact your departmental advisor for more information.

Here's everything you need to know about qualifying and applying for graduation.
