Hi everyone! I’m a junior majoring in Microbiology in the Honors College on the pre-med track. I am also pursuing a minor in Chemistry and certificates in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine and Public Communication of Science and Technology. I am passionate about science writing for a general audience and working as a researcher at the Subramanya Research lab at UPMC where we focus on renal-electrolyte molecular biochemistry. A fun fact about me is that I recently earned my NEMT certification and plan to work in paramedicine for a few years before medical school.
