David Bartholomae Grant

The David Bartholomae Grant provides $1,200 in financial support to students in their second year and beyond, helping them access essential educational resources needed for academic success. Students may apply directly for funding to cover tangible academic needs such as books, technology, software, and course materials, as well as experiential learning opportunities, conference fees, travel costs, research expenses, and global experiences.

This grant cannot be used as personal income or to pay expenses billed directly by the University as defined by the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, including tuition, course fees, program fees, and mandatory fees.

Who Should Apply?

Any Dietrich School and College of General Studies (CGS) undergraduate who:

  • Is in their second year or above
  • Needs financial support to cover the costs of tangible educational needs
  • Has a FAFSA on file

Please note, demonstrated financial need is determined through FAFSA information. To be eligible for this grant, you must have a FAFSA on file.
