Curiosity Hours

Undergraduate Mentors will be available to meet in a more informal environment for open discussions about undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity. Meetings will take place in Posvar 1400. 

Dates for Fall meetings are the following Wednesdays from 6 - 7pm:

  • September 23
  • October 7
  • October 21

First Experiences in Research (FE-R) Information Sessions

Attendance at an information session is required to apply for the FE-R Program. During the info session, the OUR staff will walk through the program details and the application process. There will be time at the end of the session for a Q&A.

Virtual info sessions will take place September 8 - 10, at 12 PM and 5 PM. The OUR will host one in-person info session on Friday, September 11, at 12 PM. The location for the in-person session is Cathedral 324.

London Field Studies Information Sessions

During the info session, the OUR staff will explain the application process and overall program expectations for this London Field Studies. The location for the in-person session is Cathedral 324.

Research Story Slam

At the Research Story Slam, the Undergraduate Mentors and Forbes & Fifth journal staff of the OUR will share stories from their research experiences. Topics that these stories will cover include how they discovered their passions and inspirations, surprising moments, moments of mistakes and failures, and more! There will also be an opportunity to mingle with the UMs and F&F journal staff and ask any questions that you may have.
