OUR Virtual Information Sessions

Are you curious about how to get involved in undergraduate research during your time at Pitt? Whether you're planning to pursue research this year or just exploring your options, we invite you to join one of our upcoming Info Sessions!

Each Info Session has a specific Zoom registration, which can be accessed by clicking on the date. Once you register, you’ll receive the Zoom link in your email. All information will be covered at each session.

FALL 2026

Curiosity Hours

Undergraduate Mentors will be available to meet in a more informal environment for open discussions about undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity. Meetings will take place in Posvar 1400.

Specific dates and times will be posted in August 2026.

First Experiences in Research (FE-R) Information Sessions

Attendance at an information session is required to apply for the FE-R Program. During the info session, the OUR staff will walk through the program details and the application process. There will be time at the end of the session for a Q&A.

12 PM Session Registration 5 PM Session Registration

Virtual info sessions will take place September 8 - 10, at 12 PM and 5 PM.

In-Person Session Registration

The OUR will host one in-person info session on Friday, September 11, at 12 PM. Location TBA soon!
