The Anthony and Concetta Ambrosio Internship Award provides $5,000 to support an undergraduate student who has received an unpaid, summer internship. The internship should align with the student's academic and/or career goals, and may take place in Pittsburgh or any other location.
Who Should Apply?
Any Dietrich School and College of General Studies (CGS) undergraduate who:
- Is a rising junior or senior
- Has a minimum GPA of 3.0
Note: The internship does not need to be confirmed by the award application deadline. In the event of a successful application for this award, the internship will need to be confirmed upon acceptance of the award.

- Describe the unpaid internship, and your academic and career goals. How will the internship help you progress towards those goals, and how will receiving the funding support your participation in the internship?
- Please use this format: 2-3 pages, typed, double-spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins.
- Statement of Support
- A paragraph from a faculty member who can speak to the ways that the internship will impact and inform your career goals.
- This should take the form of an email sent from the faculty member to the OUR inbox (our@pitt.edu), with the subject line "Ambrosio: Student Surname - Statement of Support"
