Learn how you can accomplish this with the support of a $4,000 stipend through the Summer Undergraduate Research Awards (SURA).
Whether you are a freshman looking for your first research project or an upper classman who wants to experience research, The First Experiences in Research (FE-R) program could be a great fit for you! Do you want to travel London while conducting a spring term’s worth of independently designed, faculty mentored research? Check out the London Field Studies program.
Courses

Grants
Curiosity Grants are geared toward student-created research or creative projects with faculty mentorship, while the David Bartholomae Grant is designed to provide essential financial support to students in their second year and beyond.
Partnered Research
The OUR partners with the University of Pittsburgh Library System to support undergraduates in developing independent research projects through the Archival Scholars Research Award (ASRA). The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP) Junior Fellows program is designed to provide substantive work experience for those students who have an identified career interest in the area of international affairs.
